Install Debian Plymouth Theme on Ubuntu Linux System / LMDE

Plymouth is a bootsplash for Linux supporting animations using Direct Rendering Manager (DRM) and KMS driver. It gets packed into the initrd. Besides eye-candy, Plymouth also handles user interaction during boot.

Add plymouth theme step by step :

Download theme :
wget -c https://dllb2.pling.com/api/files/download/j/eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJpZCI6IjE1ODQ2NzQ3NDIiLCJ1IjpudWxsLCJsdCI6ImRvd25sb2FkIiwicyI6ImNjOTY1YWRmNjI2OWE1NzE5MTQ5ZGQ0ZDM3NTk0ZmRlZjNlNTgwNWJjMjZmYzY5MGNjNDMxMTUwNjJiY2EwMDIxNjU2MmE0MzM5ZWI1MmRkYTY2ZTgzZDI1OTVhZWU4NmJkMGIxZmQzYWI4ZTJlNTMzMjM2MzJmZTQxNTdmOThhIiwidCI6MTU5MDE4NDMxNywic3RmcCI6IjYzMmRkZmFmMjI3OTI5MDU5ZGJlOWYyODBkYmM3ZDA4Iiwic3RpcCI6IjExNC4xMjUuNjEuMTgyIn0.Vcchy2xM6QVJahZ2aaDTVOb1TM-mbLQrfdMLZRgBJG4/debian.zip

sudo unzip debain.zip -d /usr/share/pymouth/
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/share/plymouth/themes/default.plymouth default.plymouth /usr/share/plymouth/themes/debian/debian.plymouth 100
sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth
sudo update-initramfs -u

To fix the delayed loading of the splash:
sudo -s
echo FRAMEBUFFER=y >>/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/splash
update-initramfs -u

For Debian/LMDE:

1- Download and extract the file to file
/usr/share/plymouth/themes/
2- Set the teme
sudo plymouth-set-default-theme debian
3- run:
sudo update-initramfs -u

NOTE : i am using this plymouth on ubuntu 20.04 and working good :)
